Our Mission
The Doll Cradle is an active Doll Hospital. We specialize in all types of repairs, from 100-year-old dolls to your baby's favorite new plush animals. We buy and repair vintage and antique dolls, such as the iconic: Barbie, Cabbage Patch, Shirley Temple, Kewpie, Reborn and much more!
Our mission is to continue to spread the joy that comes with having a special toy in your life. By restoring and educating the public on the historical and sentimental value that toys provide, and igniting interest within all generations to love and preserve these lovely treasures.
Meet The Owner
Connie Harrell is a certified appraiser and works actively in her community and doll organizations to supply all facets of expertise in the doll world. Her passion for dolls and restoration was passed down to her from her family who began the business alongside her in 1970.
Our Story
Since opening in 1970, our passion has been restoring and repairing dolls. Connie Harrell carries on the tradition, championing craftsmanship over throwaway culture.
“Don’t throw it away!” she says because almost any beloved doll or bear can be brought back to life. Her goal is to preserve these skills and pass them on for generations to come.
